Wonder is the heaviest element in the periodic table of the heart.
Even a tiny piece of it can stop time. A sense of wonder can find you in many forms. Sometimes wonder looks like a whisper within the wind, feelings such as moving through love, being balanced or blue. Wonder warms my soul when I observe the way shadow meets light, when a bird finds rest on a branch, or when moments demand I pay attention to one leaf at a time. This form of observation insures I never quite pick up where I left off. Wonder is when I feel grounded through my roots and am overwhelmed with peace. Wonder is when you can look into someones eyes and see their divinity. Wonder is when I burst into tears because in that moment of overwhelming appreciation for the senses, life feels like a beautiful dreamscape full of rich promises.
Just think for a moment about how hot-fast moving atoms collide with slow-cold moving atoms and create an even distribution of thermal energy. Let us be the positive elements that exchange energy and create equality.
